studied International Business (BA) + Political Science and International Affairs (MA) in Paris. She worked for 4 years as the Marketing + HR Director of GRM. Alicia was also running the group’s CSR + Welfare Committee. In 2013 she decided to diversify her skills and headed to London where she completed another MA in Culture, Criticism and Curation at Central Saint Martins. She curated exhibitions within the university and with the Guardian’s archive. Her MA thesis focused on the development of art spaces in post-colonial Mauritius – a cultural negotiation in the Third Space. She spent the year 2014 working as a Marketing, PR + Strategy consultant for international brands (such as Bacardi Global) and global charities. She headed home in 2015 to set-up and run various companies in diversified sectors such as cosmetics distribution, paper trading, digital strategy and content production, restaurant business. In December 2015, together with Laetitia Lor, she set up the artistic and cultural platform THE THIRD DOT, followed by DOCK13 in 2017.

Laetitia LOR

Laetitia LOR is a contemporary painter renowned for the realization of abstract painting. Rising value in her field, she is a creator of forms. She holds a French MA (with distinction from the jury). In 14 years of career, she has achieved more than 20 solo shows between France, Mauritius and South Africa. More than 340 pieces of art purchased by collectors, private companies (MCB Private Collection, Barclays bank…) and foundations. In 2015, Laetitia organized the first edition of 13, a charity exhibition dedicated to raising money for children of various Mauritian NGOs. She joined Alicia in December 2015 to build their platform THE THIRD DOT. She has also been teaching fine arts to college students for several years.
